Cosmetic Peels

Acid Peels

Cosmetic peels (aka chemical peels) have become very popular with those who are unhappy with acne scarring, sun-damaged skin, age spots, freckles, face lines, rough skin and uneven pigmentation. In addition, they can be performed on the neck, chest, hands, arms, shoulders and legs. Chemical peels are topically applied acids that aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of the skin's surface. Depending on the type and depth of the peel, it can create an even and controlled shedding of the skin, exposing new layers of the epidermis and thereby creating a fresh new appearance. We use glycolic, lactic, salicylic and jessner acid peels to allow the exfoliation of dead skin cells, which helps reactivate cellular renewal. The result: smooth and radiant skin.

A series of 2-6 peels at 2-4 week intervals is recommended for best results. The procedure itself lasts about 20 minutes, depending on the area treated. After the treatment the area may appear pink or red and feel like sunburn for up to a day. Cool compresses can be applied. Superficial peeling of the skin may be noticed. All skin types and skin colors can be safely treated.




Cavitation peeling

Cavitation peeling is a treatment performed with the use of ultrasounds, which induce a “cavitation wave. “ It is a new way of deep skin cleansing which is non-invasive and can be used even on the most sensitive skin. During the treatment we use a special apparatus which creates ultrasound vibrations reaching deep into the pores and hair follicles, cleansing them from excess sebum, old, dead cells secretions and fats. Cavitation is a modern method used largely for touch free, painless face cleansing, and for improved penetration of vitamins and cosmetics into the deeper layers of the skin.
